The UK Start-Up Visa is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas. Applicants must have 3 to 5 years of business ownership or senior-level work experience and a minimum IELTS score of 5+ bands. Before applying, candidates must show at least £945 maintained in their bank account for a minimum of 90 days. A well-prepared business plan is essential, and it must demonstrate that the idea is new, viable, and has strong potential for growth. The business plan must also be endorsed by an authorized body, either a UK higher education institution or a recognized business organization with a track record of supporting entrepreneurs. The visa is initially granted for 2 years, during which applicants cannot join or invest in an existing business but must develop their new venture. After this period, they may switch to an Innovator Visa, which can eventually lead to Permanent Residency in the UK.
