The Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) is a program in Canada that aims to attract skilled immigrants to smaller communities. RNIP participating communities have a demonstrated need for skilled labor and have made a commitment to support the integration of immigrants into their local labor markets and communities. Indian immigrants may be interested in this program as a way to permanently settle in Canada and contribute to the economic growth of smaller communities.
There are 11 Communities participating in this program (North Bay (ON), Sudbury (ON), Timmins (ON), Sault Ste. Marie (ON), Thunder Bay (ON), Brandon (MB), Altona/Rhineland(MB), Moose Jaw (SK) , Claresholm (AB), Vernon (BC), West Kootenay (Trail, Castlegar, Rossland, Nelson) (BC).
